Marcelo Zelada
Marcelo Zelada is the Portfolio Manager and the FX Head of investments at Kairos Asset Management. He is responsible for controlling the FX desk exposure, FX risk and daily negotiation of foreign exchange rates besides developing and implementing the asset management company investment philosophy.

He has more than 10 years of experience in the financial industry working mainly in proprietary desks of financial institutions. Previosly, Mr. Zelada worked for Bulltick do Brasil as Trader experienced in arbitrage. He worked for BNP Paribas where he was the Head of Cash Equities, also for Bradesco Bank, one of the major Brazilian finantial institutions, as International broker working in New York and at HSBC, as an Equities Trader.
Mr. Zelada holds a B.A. in Economics from FAAP – Fundação Armando Álvarez Penteado.

Alberto Araújo
Alberto Araujo is the Chief Operations Officer at Kairos Asset Management. He is responsible for managing the entire administrative staff and back office operations, overseeing the day-to-day activities of the trading desk and controlling the asset’s risk.

Previously Mr. Araujo worked for Bulltick do Brasil as a controller, covering most of client’s back office operations.
Mr. Araujo holds a B.S. in Naval Engineering from São Paulo University, a MBA in Business Services from FIA-USP and a Law B.A. from Pontífica Universidade Católica (PUC-SP).

Gustavo Jacob
Gustavo Jacob is the Chief Information Officer being in charge of all information systems.
He is responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s proprietary database systems, for security policies and he also supervises the Automated Trading System.

Previously Mr. Jacob served as IT manager at Invervalor Group where he worked for 4 years and was responsible for the company’s proprietary operational systems development and maintenance.

Mr. Jacob holds a B.S. in Naval Engineering from São Paulo University.

Fernando Rebane
Fernando is the FX and Financial Futures trader responsible for controlling the FX exposure at Kairos Global Fund.

Previously he worked at a Brazilian local brokerage house, Agora Investment.

Leonardo Ferreira
Leonardo is responsible for back and middle office operations and daily result calculation, interacting with all prime and local brokers.

Previously Mr. Ferreira worked for Maxblue – Deutsche Bank as a trader where managed clients portfolios.
He also worked as a broker at CCF Brasil trading securities at Bovespa (Brazilian Stock Exchange) and BM&F (Brazilian Mercantile and Futures Exchange).
Mr. Ferreira holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from São Paulo University.

Sheyla Brito
Sheyla Brito is in charge of the fund NAV and financial reports generation and disclosure to investors. She is also responsible for new processes implementation and for managing external service contracts, including Fund’s Administrator and Auditor.

Previously Ms. Brito worked in the consulting division of Accenture do Brasil, where her last role was Business Consulting Manager, focused on process redesign, organizational restructuring and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems implementation, for clients from a wide range of industries.

Ms. Brito holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from São Paulo University and a MBA degree in Industry Management from Fundação Vanzolini at São Paulo University.

Karine Campoi
Karine is the back office analyst at Kairos Asset Management responsible for cash flow control, contracts and accounts payable.

Previously she worked for a Trading company in market research, customer service, contracts and proposal.
Karine holds a B.A. degree in International relations from UniFMU and an MBA degree in Foreign Trading from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV).

Thales Faggiano
Thales is the IT analyst at Kairos Asset Management, responsible for software and hardware maintenance. He is also responsible for new developments.

Previously he worked as a trainee at Intervalor Group and as an IT Security at Net Connection.

José Renato
José Renato has started his work at Kairos Asset Management as a back office analyst and has recently moved to the trading desk.

Previously he worked for the Economic Planning department of a major Cosmetic Brazilian Industry, Natura.

José Renato is currently studying Economics at São Paulo University and will graduate at the end of 2008.

Jonas Matias Fagundes
Jonas is a trader developer who is responsible for a quantitative trading strategy for BM&F and Bovespa.

He has more than 6 years of experience in the financial industry working with focus in the development of quantitative strategies. He worked in this role for institutions as Murano Investimentos, Morgan Stanley D.W. do Brasil Ltda and Klig Global Fund. He still worked for Itaú and Safra banks in the beginning of his career.

Jonas holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering (Summa cum Laude) from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica – SP (ITA).
